"Experience depends on which ward you are..."

What I liked

Staff were friendly and helpful, everyone from the ward sister to the domestic staff.

What could be improved

Helping infirm patients with their meals.

I wrote a review in April 2011 where I said the ward was awful. My mam was readmitted to hospital recently and the experience was completely different.

This ward (different floor to the first ward she was admitted to), was the polar opposite. The staff were brilliant. They were helpful, friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I can only think that the sister in charge of each ward determines the mood and efficiency of that ward. They are to be commended.
