What I liked

I have just spent 20 hours in the Children's A&E and Assessment Unit with my 20-week old son who was admitted for observation. I cannot praise the staff we came into contact with highly enough!! Right from the receptionist to the wonderful student nurses, staff nurses and registrars - all were without fail professional, friendly and caring. Every staff members' bedside manner was impeccable and we felt safe and cared for from the moment we arrived.

Thank you very much to the staff for being so wonderful despite working in an extremely busy environment!

What could be improved

I think your staff members deserve more colleagues - they are working extremely hard!

Many thanks for feedback, which we make sure gets passed to the children's emergency team at the Lister. Whilst they will be pleased to read your comments, this is the level of service that they aim to provide for all sick children (and their parents!).
