"My daughter's great experience of Dudhope house"

I am the mother, my daughter was admitted to dudhope house. She spent over 1year in dudhope. She was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa. The staff and doctors were fantastic with my daughter and myself and I'm still in contact with staff. My daughter was later back to Glasgow/ Skye house and she has sadly, been diagnosed with other illnesses, and is now in a adult hospital. I strongly believe that if my daughter was left in dudhope, she would have made a full recovery, because the staff and doctors were more experienced and worked very hard with my daughter. My daughter was readmitted to dudhope on last year, and was so happy to see the staff again, they are so caring, and work so hard to get the young people well! I am so pleased that Dudhope House is there to help young people and if there's any parent that has a child about to go into the unit and are worried, don't be, because the best possible care for young people to get well is through Dudhope, my daughter lived Dudhope and I did too.
