What I liked
I was under the care of a consultant for the treatment of Atrial Fibrillation. When I was admitted to the ward in the evening, I was welcomed by the nurses who undertook there observations and fitted with a wireless ECG for easier mobility.
The staff were always polite and helpful, and treated me effectively. My consultant was aware that I had an interest in medicine and wanted to be a doctor, and therefore spoke to me professionally and explaining things I was unsure on.
I was discharged the next day, and would recommend the CCU (Coronary Care Unit) for anyone with cardiological troubles.
What could be improved
When I was admitted, there was no same-sex accomodation, however I prefer intergrated-sex care.
"CCU and A&E staff were professional,..."
