What I liked

I had a CT Pneumocolon. I found the information given beforehand very comprehensive. I have a positive view of both the Outpatients Clinic I attended where this scan was suggested and the Scanning Department itself. They are both well run and work efficiently. Everyone from the Consultant I saw was pleasant and courteous.

What could be improved

I had a follow up visit to be given the results of my scan. I did not feel that the Doctor I saw on this occasion engaged in any meaningful dialogue or listened when I responded to something he had said, he suggested I look up my condition and ways of coping with it on the intranet. The clinic was very busy and he was no doubt pressed for time.

When I got home I realised I did have a couple of specific queries about the scan result, but felt I should not take up any more time, shame really because until that point I had been really impressed.
