"Thank you to the paramedics and A&E staff"

About: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital / Accident and emergency West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust

(as a relative),

On the early hours of on night in the beginning April 2011 my father was rushed to Shrewsbury Accident and Emergency department having collapsed at home. My Father passed away having suffered an aortic aneurysm a couple of hours later.

I would like to thank the paramedics and the staff in the A&E department that night for the care and professionalism given to my father and the compassion shown to my mother and I during the most traumatic of times. The staff kept us informed of what they were doing and when they had to tell us the most devastating of news we were able to ask questions about my fathers treatment, if he had suffered and then were able to sit with him during his last moments. We were left in no doubt that my father had received the best of care and that everything possible had been done for him.

Thank you.
