"I could not praise them too much"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I was brought in as an emergency on Sunday 24th April and went to AMU where I was treated with great care. I had had pains in my chest and was told I would have angina which will be assessed by an angiogram.

I was moved to Ward 31 on the Wednesday and the staff, nurses and doctors have been marvellous and very friendly and helpful.

There has been a lot of publicity about Tameside Hospital but I could not praise them too much.

Thank you for raising these very positive comments about your care in the Medical Assessment Unit and ward 31 at Tameside Hospital. I am delighted to learn that you feel the staff have been marvelous, and that you cannot praise Tameside Hospital too much. I hope you are feeling much better now

I will ensure your comments are brought to the attention of the staff concerned.

With best wishes

Philip Dylak

Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed. Want to know more about what’s involved?

Please contact Philip Dylak, Director of Nursing at philip.dylak@tgh.nhs.uk
