What I liked
Outstanding maternity care especially from two very professional Midwives.
On Monday the 2nd May 2011 my wife gave birth to twins however the delivery was very rare and carried great risk to the life of both babies.
Prolapsed cord on the first baby born and a Footling breech on the second with both babies being born via a natural birth this was a very serious delivery.
The Registered Midwife demonstrated outstanding bravery, control and calmness in what was a very well organised and planned delivery which changed in a matter of seconds when the prolapsed cord was discovered.
The Student Midwife demonstrated a skill and knowledge level which I would expect from a senior and long serving midwife.
Both had fantastic communication skills and worked as a team respecting each other’s, position, knowledge, experience and passion to deliver the best possible performance in their role.
Throughout our three day stay on the delivery ward all midwives we came in to contact with were friendly, caring, understanding, balanced and had great calmness whilst demonstrating great listening skills.
My wife and I could not have asked for a better team of people to look after my wife’s health, we had great confidence right from the beginning.
"Awesome Midwives. The Best!."
