"The staff at the hospital work very hard..."

About: Watford General Hospital

What I liked

My 3 month old was admitted via the childrens A&E to the Safari childrens ward and I was very impressed by the high standard of care given by nurses and doctors. The staff worked extremely hard to ensure my baby was comfortable and recovered quickly. Due to the age of my child, I was permitted to stay onsite with her for the 5 days she had to stay and food and showers were provided for me. The doctors and nurses informed me of every treatment they were planning on performing beforehand and explained everything thoroughly.

The hospital was clean and well looked after, there was at least one cleaner working on the ward at any given time. My bin was emptied at least twice a day and the floor in my room was cleaned once a day.

This is where I gave birth to my daughter, and I was also very happy with the service I received on the delivery suite and Victoria ward.
