What I liked
Excellent maternity care between midwives during labour in the Delivery Suite and previously at the Maternity Ward. It seemed each member of the team was better than the last, though looking back they were all good.
What could be improved
Communication between delivery suite and maternity ward could've been better. It was busy at the DS but it was the waiting to find out when we would be going up to break my wife's waters that was stressing her out a little. Once things got moving, it got up to speed pretty fast.
Anything else?
As expected, the midwives fitted in around my wife and her labour. They knew exactly what was required and gave 100% to the cause and helped my wife through from start to finish.
