"Excellent care and a great experience..."

About: The Cheshire & Merseyside NHS Treatment Centre

What I liked

I was treated extremely well. The care and respect was second to none. From the very beginning at the very first appointment I was put at ease. I was treated with care and respect. The staff from cleaners to doctors and nursing staff were very friendly and genuinely wanted to help. The reception staff in both the main reception and on the ward were friendly and accommodating. Pre and post op care was fantastic with the nursing staff that made it seem that nothing was too much trouble. The physiotherapists were excellent and understanding but not too soft either. The wards were very clean and with only four beds in the ward it felt much more private. I was also impressed with the after care with appointments with my GP and return out patient appointments being made for me and given to me in a folder. I was even wheeled out in a wheelchair to the car by the nurse when I left. Overall it has got to be the best I have ever been treated in hospital and I would definitely recommend the services here as it was more like a good hotel than a hospital.

What could be improved

I can honestly say that there was nothing I would or could have improved.

Anything else?

If all hospitals in the NHS were run like this I think most patients would be happy. I understand that it is run by a Canadian company for the NHS, then they could show the NHS a thing or two. I have to say it again, the staff throughout the clinic were excellent especially the nurses........
