"I think the Patient Transport staff deserve every possible praise"

About: Great Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust / Patient transport service

(as the patient),

I have recently had to use the patient transport service to get to and from hospital as I am not in a wheelchair.

I copied the Patient Opinion nmber down from inside the ambulance as I wanted to say how friendly I have found the staff. They are very aware of safety, journey and how comfortable you are.

I have worked in nursing all my life and have been in emergency vehicles but it is a totally different ball game when you have to rely on someone else to get you around. I think the patient transport staff deserve every possible praise.
