About: Croydon University Hospital

What I liked

nothing

What could be improved

i witnessed a elderly man recieve his dinner and call his call buzzer as he was not able to feed himself, and yet two + hours the staff on heathfield ward 2 still had not found 10 minuites to feed him - disgraceful!

a absolute joke! nursing used to be a caring profession....i seen no evidence of caring in this environment, in fact it seemed the staff didnt care at all what the patients were doing or what they needed. I witnessed antoner elderly gentleman in soiled pj's clearly been like that for a while trying to get to the bathroom. How degrading for these patients, especially during visiting hours

Anything else?

sort it our mayday - your nursing staff on this particular ward are a disgrace to the profession - i just hope the rest of the hospital is not in the situation.

These people are elderly and deserve to be treated with a little care and respect. They, i am sure, have paid their taxes over the years.

Working in medical media myself i was shocked to see the lack of interest in the patients and their needs.

This needs to be looked into

We are sorry to hear of your concerns which have been sent to the ward sister. It would help us to investigate this further if you could contact our PALS manager either by phone 0208 401 3939 or email.
