"Stressful."

About: The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore)

What I liked

TV screens in the waiting room, very nice touch - detracts from the very long wait (45mins++).

Regrettable that it was showing ITV1 with Jeremy Vile, so we were treated to hours of watching some young people running up to an older woman and screaming in her face: Hell really is daytime TV.

What could be improved

The waiting area was full to over flowing with patients, so much so that some were standing. Perhaps they should double the clinics and refrain from overbooking.

Anything else?

Bolsover Street was a beautiful old building with so much space, why did they redevelop it? Surely the money would be better spent on the Stanmore buildings?

Many thanks for your comments which we will pass on to our outpatients' department. We are progressing our plans for the Stanmore redevelopment so that we can provide excellent facilities for our patients.
