"desperately waiting for a follow up..."

What could be improved

Still waiting for a follow up appointment, apparently they are a consultant down which means although I am on a waiting list and had several tests not follow up appointment available to me. I have ulcers in my stomach and in my duodenum. My throat and mouth is ulcerated and I have lost well over a stone in 4 weeks. I am on pain killers and still losing wait. Spoke to the consultants PA but still not appointment.
