What I liked
Nothing. My mother died in this hospital recently. Following a broken hip she was not mobilised for 8 days. Avoid this hospital like the plague!
What could be improved
Physiotherapy (there was very little)
keeping patients clean (Mum's hair was washed only once in 8+ weeks)
answering the buzzers in under half an hour
Giving of information to patient's relatives. (Especially necessary in the case of Dementia patients). They hide behind the Data Protection Act to stop you from making effective complaints.
The culture of "I don't know" when you ask a question.
Senior staff who refuse to speak to relatives with legitimate concerns.
I could go on, and on and on! Only anonymous to protect my deceased Mum's privacy.
"I never want to go through anything like..."
