"Lost patient records, denied ..."

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

What could be improved

Well for one, not losing patient records in the system for someone who is waiting for surgery on a broken hand immediately. Waited 2 months to find out why he hadnt been contacted. Surgeons said hand was beyond repair, and wouldnt accept it was their fault. Had to recieve support from PAL's officer to make sure i was recieving correct services. They fixed up for this short period of time while they were being observed by PAL's but even he said the way they were conducting themselves as a whole was unaccepable. I have had 2 more than necessary surgies on my hand and have been out of work for 1 year and a half because they just cant provide for patients and do their job properly. In the end they have resorted to taking a bone grapht from my hip to fix my hand when they could of just put a piece of metal in, in the early days and i would of been able to work by now. They are lucky I am not able to name them, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Anything else?

They conduct properly when they want to, they couldnt upset every patient like this because there would be protests outside their hospital and would probably have no patient to care for. Consultant didnt want to listen to a thing i was saying, nurses stand, chat and giggle when theres patients that always need caring for. not in tune with their job what so ever. tired lazy and unprofessional.
