"A surprising pleasant first experience..."

About: Hillingdon Hospital

What I liked

Pre-operative assessment clinic was good and I got a date for my surgery. when I attended the clinic. Good information from physiotherapy about the arthroscopy. When I arrived at Trinity Day Care Unit they were expecting me and had already prepared an 'allergy' nameband. The Theatre porter and the recovery nurse were especially pleasant and welcoming.

What could be improved

Blood samples could have been taken in the pre-op clinic, not have to trek down the corridor to 'blood tests' . Information about the arthroscopy could have been given in the Fracture Clinic or at the latest in the pre-op assessment clinic. Some other small details, but I'll feed those back to the Trust staff.
