"Excellent & very positive"

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital

What I liked

From the time I entered the A&E after a nasty road traffic accident in Oct 2010 with a serious upper humorus fracture until my transfer to the trauma clinic I had excellent care. I had the same team from the point of diagnosis until my discharge from their care today march 31st 2011. Even the receptionist at the clinic was the same as my initial visits in the days following the accident. Thank you to all the team from the nurses, the consultant and his team to the ladies on reception who made the trauma from my accident easier to bear.Big thanks goes to the person in the plaster room whose skill & expertise in setting my arm gave me an exceptional result. This person is without doubt a legend. Thank you one & all.

What could be improved

Perhaps the seating if I were to nit pick. My plaster cast was quite large as I resembled a quarter back and it difficult to sit on some of the chairs. I always had to hope an end sit was available so my right arm would be in space. However we got round this as the receptionist booked me in early so I would stand a good chance of finding an end seat.
