What I liked

It was good to see a nurse encourage a old man to eat.

What could be improved

The spread of hospital infections which affected several wards in hospital.

Anything else?

I went and saw one of my relative at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in January 2011.

But whilst he was in hospital there was outbreak of norovirus on his ward.

As a result he caught the norovirus whilst he was there.

Later that month he was transported to a Nurseing Home by Social Services.

Whilst he was at Nurseing Home he still had norovirus which he caught at the hospital.

Two months later in Nurseing Home he died which could of possibley been beacuse of norovirus.

Norovirus is a community infection rather than an hospital infection. It's a viral stomach bug and it spreads easily in places like schools, care homes and hospitals. It's a self-limiting illness that lasts a couple of days and normally requires no treatment.
