What I liked
I attended St Cross A & E with my granddaughter who was vsiting a Rugby school for a netball tournament. Unfortunately she sustained an ankle injury which required investigation and treatment. Th St Cross A & E department team received her efficiently, and in a warm and friendly manner. She was x rayed, and in that department too we were treated very well. Eventually her ankle was strapped for the journey with a query fracture, she was supplied with crutches, and she was advised to go to our local A & E next day. All of this took around 1.5 hours on a fairly steadily busy day. Your staff are great. Often people complain and fail to compliment. My granddaughter and I were both impressed with the service provided, in particular the kindness and calmness of the staff. So, we want to say a big thank you to all the staff on duty around lunch time on Wednesday 23 March. Don't forget to tell the receptionist and the cleaner that we also appreciated their efforts.
What could be improved
Nothing that we could identify. WE had the courtesy, help and support that one would expect from a good hospital
Anything else?
I do offer criticism when necessary, so I am delighted to offer real praise. This was my granddaughter's first A & E experience so I am really pleased that she was treated so well. Thank you
