What I liked

I am posting a comment on behalf of my mom. She had cancer and was a frequent visitor to the third floor of Weston Park. As her life drew to an end at the beginning of March, we talked about a multitude of things and one being her stays on the third floor. She had nothing but compliments and glowing comments about all the staff that had a hand in taking care of her. Being an oncology nurse she said, is not a job but a vocation. All the nursing and auxilliary staff were wonderful to her. From the ward staff to the people who brought round dinner. There was nothing that was too much trouble for anyone at any time. I myself live in the states. I made phone calls to the ward at some anti social times because of the time difference. No matter how busy the nursing staff were, they always took time out to talk with me and give me updates on my mom. They always relayed messages for me and they never became impatient. Thank you for all of the staff and for all you do.
