What I liked
I have recently spent 4 four days in K.G.H. Deene ward A undergoing surgery for bowel cancer. I just want to say that the service & care that I have received commencing in the bowel screening centre to being discharged from "Deene A" has been outstanding, my wife & I were kept informed at all times of what was going to happen, every detail was explained & the staff concerned were all caring, sympathetic & always available for questions/queries.
My stay in Deene A ward was made so much easier by the caring & attentive staff on every shift & level, I have also made my feelings known to the ward manager, they all deserve a pat on the back.
I would also like to make a special mention about the registrar who was working with my consultant, he took the trouble to telephone my wife whilst I was in recovery after theatre to tell her how the operation went which was a huge help to her.
I'm sorry to go on a bit but so many people are quick to post complaints that I felt compelled to congratulate you all.
Keep up the good work & thank you all again.
kind regards
David Findley
