"A good experience overall"

What I liked

I was admitted on friday 18/03/11 to the pre op department, i was very nervous but all the staff were lovely and reassuring, the aneathatist had a good talk to me as did the doctor about my operations and options, whether i wanted a general or epidural and i felt that they listened and that i mattered as a person

When i was taken to theatre and then recovery the staff again were very good and explained everything they were doing.

After my operation i was on ward 7.

The care was great and so were the staff ,they were kept very busy, but they had time for me.

The food was of a good standard and a good variety.

All in all i was very happy with my care.

What could be improved

I would rather of been admitted to the ward before my op,but apart from that i was happy
