What I liked

that i woke up from my operation well. and i was taken out of recovery area almost straight away.

What could be improved

the food!! unfortunatly i still very much dislike the taste of hospital food reminds me of cardboard and and a toilet taste (sorry).

Anything else?

i was very upset that i couldnt have my dad there in the accomidation before i went into theatre. my first operation on my own and all i wanted was my dad at my side. i was disapointed that no one had told him what time i will be awake so he can be by my side. no one had rang him when i woke up to let him know i was ok. i kept asking to be let home after i had something to eat and drink and they said yes we will get your medicine now and then you can go... this was around 1pm and i was still there crying to be let home at 4pm. i am only 18 and very scared of operations from previous ones as a child. i am recovering slowly though.
