What I liked

I could not fault the care that individual members of staff gave or the clinical quality of the treatment given

What could be improved

The administration and communication between services. As a complex diagnosed suddenly with a complex serious illness I was dischaged with little written information, verbal instructions that were often contradictory between deaprtments (exascerbated by poor hearing) and with expectations of support that were not met it actuality.

Anything else?

QEQM (Eat Kent Hospitals NHS Trust) needs to reveiw its patient care practices in relation to overall customer care along complex paths. It is no use requesting 'snapshot' customer service polls the whole patient experience needs to be urgently reveiwed and weak links urgently addressed.
