The Nurses I had contact with seemed friendly and the admin staff

Firstly got a friend to drive me 25 miles from Blackpool for an appointment in ward D to have a procedure was told that it was canceled with no explanation (thou i phoned up the night before to check if the appointment was ok) later found out that i did not have an upto date mrsa swab which they could of told me before saving me the trouble of having a day off work.

Was not treated with respect by the specialist, told their was nothing could be done and offered no other procedures to find out what was causing pain from my hip revision. Having had to wait an hour in waiting room and 15 mins in consulting room for a 3 min talk to.

After all that they never wrote to my doctor.

Thank you for your post and I am sorry that your experience was not good on this occasion. I shall pass your comments to the Matron for D ward so that she can share these with the staff on the ward for their reflection. Your input is very important to us and enables us to use this as a learning tool.
