What I liked
It is my Mother that is being treated here, as she is in regular need of blood as a result of inoperable cancer. St Michaels is nearby, smaller & friendlier than the larger hospitals. Mum was looked after nicely, given regular cups of tea & a lovely lunch that was 'so nice' she'd have gone for a 2nd portion if it had of been offered! Usually my Mum really struggles with hospital food, but, not here, she loved it! It's a miracle that my Mum is still eating as well as she is, and being 'so ill' eating is crucial! It's just a shame that food in other larger Hospitals is overlooked as being vital to patients well being. The hospital was clean & the staff friendly & attentive.
St Michaels got top marks from us. Mum left having received good care & attention & the even the usual 'struggle' to get the needle in to a vein didn't happen & Mum returned home with none of the usual war wounds! Thank you!!
"Well done - keep up the good work!"
