What I liked

I found a lump on my breast and went the the GP who referred me to the 'quick clinic' at Wansbeck. The staff were great throughout - from the woman who called me to arrange my appointment and patiently answered my queries, to the medical team who checked me out. First rate.

What could be improved

When having the ultrasound, a bit more explanation could have been given to what was going on - particularly when you're already slightly stressed. Also, I then had to wait for a long time, which was completely understandable and I have no complaint about that in itself, just that it would have been good if someone had come to let you know there was a delay because, after you've been for a scan and then waiting a terribly long time to see anyone thereafter, your mind can begin to play nasty tricks as to what might be wrong.
