"The best experience of the NHS I,ve ever..."

About: Pilgrim Hospital

What I liked

Everyone I spoke to had a ready smile and treated me like a person who was important to them. This applied to the lady at Information on the way in, the nurse at the Scan Reception, the lady who operated the scanner and the lady at the Out Patients coffee counter. The friendly, courteous and professional way they all dealt with me, made my visit to your hospital a very pleasant experience. I am nearly 72 years old, but wasn't made to feel like an OAP!

Parking was easy, not expensive and adjacent to where I wanted to go.

Although I was 2-hours early for my appointment, I was made welcome and 'fitted-in' straight away rather than making me wait. My impression was that there was a convenient slot to enable this to be done and nobody was inconvenienced. It demonstrated to me that there is a "can do" attitude in your hospital.

I was very impressed by the standard of cleanliness and the general air of proficiency and professionalism.

What could be improved

Only the weather!

Anything else?

If the small part of your hospital I saw reflects the whole, then you are to warmly congratulated.

Thank you so much for your positive feedback and it was lovely to hear about the excellent service and care you received.

We will see what we can do about the weather next time!
