About: John Radcliffe Hospital

What could be improved

Consultants attitude! I have had appointments with him before, two years ago, and found him exactly the same then. The consultant failed to refer me to a consultant with whom I could discuss my vision problems, but instead chose to refer me to a neuropsyciatrist, inferring that as nothing obvious was wrong, it must all be in my head.

Anything else?

Sadly an MRI scan failed to show 'obvious' signs of why my vision is deteriorating, and I have other neurological symptoms increasing. Consultant was disinterested, abrupt and wholly unsympathetic.I was treated as a nuisance, and felt embarrassed that I had bothered someone about my negligable symptoms.
