What I liked
I gave birth in the birth centre. I was consulted regarding all decisions. The midwives were wonderful and when I started having post-delivery complications I was immediately taken to the delivery suite.
At the delivery suite everyone was wonderful once again. The surgical team as well as the midwife who looked after me, was wonderful. When complications arose once again my room was immediately filled with members of staff who did everything in their power to get the issues rectifies ASAP!
I don't have a bad word to say about the entire experience. Everything was as promised and the care was exceptional.
The midwives visiting the house post-delivery are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and so is the health visitor and the breastfeeding specialist.
What could be improved
The receptionists at the ante-natal unit are very rude.
Some of the midwives at the ante-natal unit couldn't answer simple questions when I asked. I had to consult the internet to get that info.
"Highly recommended! You'll be looked..."
