What I liked

Courteous and professional nursing staff.

What could be improved

Absolute inflexibility about appointments to PEOC - there was no choice at all for the pre-operative check or the follow-up appointment after my operation, despite my requesting this.

The consultant who saw me recommended surgery very quickly and did not explain that this could take months to recover from without actually helping me. No alternatives were considered to surgery.

At the follow-up appointment after my surgery, the consultant blamed a physiotherapist for not having done something which was actually their responsibility (explaining the findings of my arthroscopy to me after surgery). they also mistook me for someone who does a lot of running (I never run) and had forgotten that I had a major trauma to the relevant joint, although this was detailed in the referral to them.
