"Couldn't have inpatient care in own county"

About: Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust / Inpatient mental health care

(as the patient),

Inpatient care for people in the RAF is provided by Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. However they only provide one bed for people from the RAF.

I got sent to Peterborough because the one bed was being used even though I live in Sleaford, Lincolnshire.

As a resident in Lincolnshire surely I am entitled to inpatient care in Lincolnshire. I should be allowed NHS care like any one else living here.

My wife could not visit because I was too far away and she doesn't drive.
