(as the patient),

I would like to thank Calderdale Substance Misuse Service [CSMS] and my individual key-worker in particular, for helping me remain 'substance free' for the last six months. When I first entered treatment, I was in a bit of a 'mess' but my key worker's open, honest and sincere approach has helped my continuing recovery enormously.

She has frequently gone 'beyond the call of duty' in helping me me remain substance free and I definitely couldn't have done it without her. I would recommend this service to anyone in the Calderdale area with a substance misuse problem, they can help you 'turn your life around' and get you on the road to recovery!

Thank you for such encouraging feedback – it is so good to know that we have been able to play a part in your recovery journey.

I will share this with the CSMS team as I know it will inspire staff to continue to do their very best to support each service users recovery journey through the treatment system.

I do hope that you will keep in contact with us as we are in the process of building a more visible ‘recovery’ community within the service to inspire others in their own recovery journey. You are a positive role model and just the inspiration that we need more of.
