Some people are waiting ages for a CPN to take over their case, or for therapy or appointments with psychiatrists at 5 Boroughs. Comments continue regarding the crisis teams.

But in actual fact, my opinion is that the majority of the workers from 5 Boroughs are actually doing all they can given the time and resources they have. I am on the Involvement Scheme and really enjoy working alongside others.

The chief exec? I feel we're lucky to have him lets put it that way! He's out there when he can, talking to service users/carers and always looking at how he can help to improve services. I believe he genuinely gives a damn about what happens to us. Dennis, Dave and Bernie - a FAB trio working so hard and supporting involvement scheme members! All 3 of them so friendly and always find time to help where they can!

It's easy to see the negatives. It's less common for people to come on here to tell others of how well things can go. I thought it was time that 5 Boroughs were given a little bit of positive recognition, they deserve it!

We appreciate your posting about the 5 Boroughs Trust particularly around communication with our service users and your positive comments about individual staff you have had involvement with. It is good to know this has included at all levels within the organisation.

A lot of work has been undertaken to ensure service users can contribute to how services are delivered, none more so than at Ashley House where volunteering and peer support are an integral part of what we offer. To drive these initiatives forward we now have a regular volunteer forum which includes attendance of trust staff, including our PALS co-ordinator, commissioners, our partner agencies within Ashley House ,volunteers and services users.
