I felt very scared about coming into the mental health system. I was admitted late one evening feeling vulnerable and very scared. I was instantly made to feel at ease, this feeling carried on during my stay.
I attended the day ward everyday as I felt this was a happy place to be. The cafe has been a great help as I knew I could either sit alone and not feel strange but when I wanted to talk the cafe staff especially Lee I found he upped my mood with his friendly chitchat. I must add the food is really nice and very affordable!
I really enjoy time in the gym and art rooms as I felt again if I wanted to be quite I was left but slowly encouraged by them to join in which in the end I was very grateful for.
All in all, I have a lot of thank yous to say to you all. Thanks.
