admitted to A&E early hours of one day in early February - care given by staff member in particular was fantastic- thank you :-) no problems in EAU - thankyou :- )
Then I was moved to womans health. I can only say that I have no diagnosis and in as much pain now as when I went in - In my opinion the major problems were with lack of: communication/ dignity/listening skills/ reading wrong results/ being wrongly informed of care plan/ being nil by mouth for 16hours for procedure that hadn't even been booked (despite notes clearly stating it had been). There are some staff on that ward who do care &- domestic staff fantastic :-))
Unfortunately I was treat by a consultant whom I felt was just not prepared to listen to me (I believe listening forms the basis for effective treatment).
"care fantastic until moved onto the ward"
