"Excellent consultant, but poor communication"

About: Salisbury District Hospital / Dermatology

(as the patient),

I am currently having treatment and although the consultant is excellent and very informative, he always asks me to contact him if I have any problems.

Unfortunately, his secretary prevents me from doing this. On two separate occasions she has promised to call me back by telephone, but has failed to do so.

This is not the way to treat a patient who might be worried about their treatment.
