"very shoddy and un organised."

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

What I liked

not much,.very shoddy no routine whatsoever,.

What could be improved

my 8 year old son had a very high temperature pains all over, i phoned the out of hours doctor and was told to come to the queens,.. on examination at she could not pin point the reason for the fever so we decided to leave it 24 hours and see if the cause for the temperature came out. the next day my son had got worse this time he had chest pains when breathing in and sniffing,,. was told to come back to the hospital to see the doctor..at 10.30 pm. he refered him to peads,, on waiting to see the triarge nurse for an hour,.. we went back in the waiting room to wait, at 12.10 am we were called in to see the doctor,.. a nurse came and asked for a urine sample and took it,; after waiting without seeing anybody till 1.20 am,. we were then told to go and get a chest xray,. we were given the wrong patients xray form so had to go back to get the right 1,. baring in mind my child was feeling really ill. the xray showed up he had a chest infection,. we were then told that he was to take antibiotics and proceeded to wait for his medicine.we were given a prescription for 1 as it wasnt in the hospital. eventually we left there at 2.40am.. very bad service by the doctors,. not very helpfull. seems like they need to consult the computer for an answer.

Anything else?

the nurse who treated my son was very nice.. helpfull and friendly. i now have to go back to the hospital to the pharmacy to collect more medicine because it was not available at boots, it was the wrong dosage for the actual antibiotic...AntibioticsHelpfullnessOpening hoursTemperaturePharmacyOut of hoursDoctorsPrescriptionsInfectionsServiceX-ray
