"Brilliant"

About: Northwick Park Hospital

What I liked

Not sure why their isn't Maternity listed on the services list above but anyway I had excellent care when I attended DAU on the Friday 5th Feb morning following Edgware Birth Centre (where I was booked to have my baby) being too busy.

My BP was up and down all week and I had been in and out of the GP, Edgware and DAU - The Midwife saw us very quicky and they quickly admitted me.

I was induced and had great care on Edith Ward overnight. Then move to delivery Sat afternoon for a great delivery in the suite downstairs and the great postnatal care on Florence ward all the staff were very supportive, helpful and watched over us the whole time. I can't thank them enough.

What could be improved

More midwifes are needed nationally, they have a hard demanding job with two lives in their hands - they are not paid enough.Patient careServiceMaternityMidwifeSupport staff

We were pleased to learn that you had such a positive experience of Maternity Services at the Trust. Your kind comments will be passed on to the staff in the areas concerned.
