"Unable to get a drink after my back operation - came up with solution"

I was having great difficulty in easily getting a drink whilst in hospital following a serious back operation. This was due to the fact that the fluids were out of reach on the bedside table and the nursing staff often had too little time to help when help was needed. I decided to invent a soltion as this is a huge problem

The result was the invention of a drinking system that clips on to beds, wheelchairs and chairs, called The Hydrant. This simple idea gives quick and easy access to fluids without the need to call for assistance. The result is much less chance of dehydration and vastly increased independence for the user.

It is making a massive difference where it is being used - both in hospitals and out in the wider community
