Having had an operation for Spinal Stenosis I was left with a number of lower body nerve problems which might or might not recover in due course. During various tests after the operation, i.e internal examinations ( DRE's ) sigmoidoscopy, barium enema, etc, for blockage problems I was discharged and I now have to live with these problems.
Unfortunately I was recently diagnosed with Prostate cancer (Gleason count 9) and was extremely angry with the medical profession for not picking this up earlier. I am now in the early stages of treatment. Having had numerous blood tests during my problems why could there not have been a check for this cancer during these tests?
"Why not check of cancer during these tests?"
