Thank you for posting these comments. I am very pleased to read that you feel you received excellent care, and were treated with respect, dignity and in privacy at Tameside Hospital and that you received all the information you required. We have worked very hard to ensure high standards of dignity in care, and your posting demonstrates the success we have had in delivering this important objective.

I will pass on your comments to the staff involved. They will be delighted to know that you feel that Ward 40 is an excellent ward.

DIRECTOR OF NURSING

Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed. Want to know more about what’s involved?

Please contact Philip Dylak, Director of Nursing at philip.dylak@tgh.nhs.uk
