"My experience was brilliant and can't..."

About: Northampton General Hospital (Acute)

What I liked

I was given a scan which showed that I had DVT in my inner thigh and for this I was treated at home.

I had regular blood tests at the hospital over the six month period I had the DVT for, and was treated very well by all staff. I was in a wheel chair for a few months too due to the health problem, but I wasn't treated any different to anyone else who was able bodied.

What could be improved

I would have liked some form of aftercare which I haven't recieved.

I was told that after six months I would have been reviewed to see if I needed any further treatment, but a year on I haven't heard from anyone.Blood test
