About: Kettering General Hospital

What I liked

The very helpful and dedicated staff in ICU and Harrowden A Ward, also initially the paramedics and casualty staff.

I could have not had bettter treatment on the Ward, Harrowden |A, than I did, all the staff, Doctors, Nursing, Cleaning etc were excellent. I wish I had listened to their advice more though.

ICU were wonderful and extremely dedicated and did not want to give up on me. I was not aware of all that took place to save my life, but my Family has been letting me know some of it since I came round. The more I am told the more I am amazed.

The Food served was excellent, always what was asked for, warm if neccessary, cold if neccessary, tasty, well cooked, using quality ingredients. There was always something to choose from the menu. The portions (I think I had Large) were more than adequate. Congratulations to Magaement and Staff for the food.

Thank you for your kind words regarding the care and treatment you received at our Accident & Emergency Department and Harrowden A. We are always grateful to receive comments around the services we provide and it is very pleasing to hear you received good quality care throughout your stay with us. It is always encouraging to know where as a Trust and department we are doing well.

I will ensure that your comments are communicated to the all the staff who looked after you during your stay, as I am sure they will be pleased to hear your feedback.

Jo Sharp

Head of Nursing

Medicine Clinical Management Team

The staff on the Intensive Care Unit would like to thank Mr James and his family for the positive comments made about the care he received. They have been shared with all of the staff on the Unit and in the wider Clinical Team. These comments go a long way to maintain and improve staff morale on ICU. It is nice to know that the care given is appreciated. We wish Mr James well for his continued recovery.
