"Very upset that one patient is allowed..."

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

What I liked

My aunt was treated well by staff.

What could be improved

No personal TV's or Radios to be allowed in shared bays without the use of headphones. You have to consider other patients sharing the bays!

Anything else?

My aunt was really upset about a lady in the next bed who was allowed to have a personal radio on without using headphones. She found it really disturbing and was very distressed about the constant noise.Considerate

Thank you for the positive feedback you have given regarding the care that the staff gave your aunt whilst she was a patient at the MRI. I was sorry to hear that she was disturbed by another patient who was using a personal radio. I can confirm that this will be discussed at the next Ward Manager’s meeting. If you would like to discuss this with us in more detail, please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service on 0161 276 8686 or by e-mailing pals@cmft.nhs.uk.
