"NHS services are criticised a lot and it..."

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

What I liked

I had a one stop visit on Thursday 16th September in the Urology department. The service I received was impressive.

The staff in reception were really friendly and helpful and I had little or no delays in the whole process involving three tests and a consultation.

The nurse who took me round all the departments and also conducted the flow test could not have been more pleasant and reassuring. All other nursing staff and doctors conducting the ultrasound, cystoscopy and my final consultation put me at my ease and were friendly and professional.

The NHS is often criticised and I think it is important to give praise where it is due,

Thanks to all those who dealt with me.

The only criticism I have is that I sent this message twice to the CEO, but did not receive an acknowledgement and neither were my comments passed on to the staff.
