What I liked

I had Day surgery on the 4th January 2011, and was really impressed with all the staff on the day unit, very pleasant and caring, and the theatre staff were reassuring the whole time, and the Doctor/Surgeon was brilliant, talked to me and told me all the time what was happening as it was a local aneasthetic.

On the 17th January I was admitted through the Medical Assessment Unit to Ward F9 Willow bay A. Again all staff were brilliant and very caring. The only problem was once a decision was made to move me upstairs it took quite a long time to get there, and then on the 19th when the doctor told me I could go home, again that took a long time, to go through the system, like from 2 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. But apart from that, from the cleaners, tea ladies, the ladies who served the meals, to all the nurses and doctors, services were brilliant and staff were very caring, and go beyond the call of duty.
