"Fantastic, would not and could not..."

What I liked

Having worked at Epsom for the last 18 months, I finally saw the other side of health care when I had a procedure in the day case unit. I thought the staff - receptionists, nurses and consultant were all fantastic. They treated me with dignity throughout my time on the unit, checked on me regularly and offered me drinks, blankets etc frequently. I was very anxious and they let my boyfriend stay with me and even brought him a cup of tea and biscuits when I went to theatre and put his mind at rest whilst I was gone! The nurses were so kind and caring and a true asset to the hospital. A lot can be learnt from the team work shown in day case.
